Motograter is an alternative/nu metal band from California. Formed in 1995, the group eventually developed a cult following fortheir
signaturesoundand image, as well as their invention of their homemade, industrialized instrument, the "motograter", whichis apparently where the
band'snamestems from. Motograter disbanded in 2006, although the band soon reunited from 2008 until 2011. As of 2014, Motograter are active once
more.
