Vehemence is a melodic death metal band from Phoenix, Arizona formed in 1997. The band started out as a mostly straightforward death metal band before incorporating their current style of brutal death metal-tinged melodeath on their second album God Was Created. They originally split up in 2005 after releasing Helping the World to See in 2004 and then reunited in 2006 for a few gigs, only to split up once again. The band would go on to reform again in 2007 before eventually being put on hold in 2016, though as of 2025, they have resumed activities once more.
