Anime Fire

TRIPLE J UNEARTHED: Born out of the southern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia in the Autumn of 2005, Anime Fire is a brooding combination of hardcore and electronic influences that have melted together to produce a sound and style that is dark, melodic, energised and emotional in its execution. Inspired by the likes of Refused, DJ Shadow, Parkway Drive, Prodigy, Thrice, Aphex Twin and In Flames – Anime Fire deliver a new interpretation of melodic hardcore, when fused with modern metal and break beat electronica to create something all to their own. This is an act that is not afraid to push the boundaries both in the studio and with their live show. In the short time since the bands creation, Anime Fire have already shared the stage with a number of International and National acts in Perth including at the 2006 Taste Of Chaos Festival alongside the likes of: Taking Back Sunday, Senses Fail, Thursday, Saosin, Anti-Flag, Underoath and Parkway Drive, plus additional tour supports for I Killed The Prom Queen, Silverstein, The Unseen, From Autumn To Ashes, The Bled, Mindsnare, Miles Away and Psycroptic. With their debut 6 track EP “Where The Wolves Fear To Tread” all mastered and ready to go, and if tracks and quality of recording are an indication of things to come - Anime Fire are definitely an act to watch out for in 2007. « hide
