Slauter Xstroyes

Slauter Xstroyes is an American power/speed/progressive metal band formed in 1979 in Chicago, Illinois. Initially known as Naj, then briefly as White Witch, they settled on Slauter Xstroyes in 1981 (pronounced slaw-ter ex-stroy-ess) inspired by the idea of "slaughter and destroyers". The band released numerous demos throughout the 80s as well as one studio album before disbanding in 1989. Some members would then go on to form another power metal band named Winterkill (in honour of said album). In 1998, Slauter Xstroyes' 2nd album "Free the Beast" would finally see the light of day, with most of the material having been recorded in 1987 and the rest between 1981-1984. The band eventually reunited in 2013.
