Review Summary: A band that deserves to be at the top.

Squid the Whale may be a stupid band name, but the band is anything but that. Bradley Walden just steals the show. Memorable musicianship, great writing and decent to great lyrics, just make this impossible to forget. I went in not knowing what to expect, hoping to check out some of the new Emarosa lead vocalists work. I am astounded. If anything stands out here it's the fact that this band can mold so well to the vocals that it flows so well and becomes so memorable. A great amount of talent indeed.

There's not too much here, which is the only problem. More music would have been better but by all means, quality over quantity. 'Gentleman', 'Tennessee' and 'Drown' are memorable and 'The greatest way' is really the only track that's flawed, just simply because the others are so much better it makes the otherwise good track a little out shined. 'Drown' soars so high that it forces an impression upon you, not many songs can do that as well as Squid the Whale has done here.

All I can say is, it's all memorable, it's all fun. Nothing groundbreaking here but if you look past the name, this is band you won't forget.

You really have to justify giving something a 5, and you didn't do that here.

I'm sorry, mate, but this is an awful review. You don't really convince or teach ANYTHING about the band or this album.

This band sounds Identical to Emarosa, I'm not suprised at all that their singer joined Emarosa.
