This album is a great compilation of insights into the history of one of the greatest bands. Listen to Flea demos to hear the development of his slap and funk/punk style. Listen to the early Kiedes vocal stylings and rough but lyrical raps. Fresh outta high school and ready to explode - Out in La is a must for RHCP but probably not essential listening for those without a back-catalogue in their collection.
