Despite on the surfacechecking all the boxes of an otherwise bland -core record, Circuit Circuit's gently static noisy mix allows for some rupturing, gnarly aesthetic to take hold and enrich the EP. I struggle to see how this would work on a full-length, unless the band also spices up the song-writing, but if they stay an EP-only band, they might be in for great things in the future.
