0.0 | Athom EMERITUS | July 9th 08 | Its amazing what you can find on the interweb sometimes. Exxasens is a one man post rock project from Barcelona, Spain and let me say that its a refreshing take on a sometimes stagnant genre. At times the music seems like the perfect mixture of 65daysofstatic and pelican. There is prevalent use of samples from 60's television broadcasts about the Apollo program and it helps to add to the mood of the album. I guess you could call it Mogwai with balls. i just call it good.

4.5 superb | PostModernJellyfish | March 23rd 11 | I thought this album was truly a work of genius. Came upon them on Last FM. The samples were definitely my favorite part. Exxasens may be one of the finest projects in Post-Rock.

2.5 average | DarkNoctus | December 25th 10 | It's a good album but it does come across as a bit unambitious and formulaic at times, which makes it seem a bit samey. They've
nailed the atmosphere they're trying to create with some great sound effects, but in places it sounds like they made a 2 minute
song and just copy and pasted the first 2 minutes onto the end of it to make a song. That's not a bad thing all the time, but
when it's every song, it does take away from the album.
