After trading former vocalist Josey Scott with Bobby Amaru from Burn Season, Saliva seems to be going in the right direction with this new album, which is WORLDS better than their past three albums. However, even though this is a very promising album, it's in no way remarkable or classic. With this album, there are typical Drop C# tunes, but there are also some different tunings included too, which really benefits this group. Even the solos are much better than on the previous albums, albeit not on the same level as Metallica, Killswitch Engage, Disturbed, or especially August Burns Red. Overall, if you want a band that is trying to recover after three bad albums, Saliva's definitely one of them now.
