Everything about this record screams classic swedish record from the 90's, the production, guitar tones, riffs, artwork, vox, acoustic guitars, slight synths here and there, damn everything!
I can't believe this is the same band that put out the worst records in recent times. I mean, do sometimes they take a The Jester Race LP, put it on a turntable, jam it and think "whoaa, how did we become so bad guys. We got to fix this". Maybe their just contempt in being a popular subpar metalcore band...

Slow changes and tweaks from record to record show after nearly two decades. Shame they've become what they are now because in their prime they created one of the best stretches of metal records, comparable to Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Metallica, etc. The Jester Race through Clayman was 4 nearly perfect releases.
