honestly the main reason this takes the victory over covenant is that covenant is too disjointed, uneven and inconsistent
this album is solid as fuck while still varied and oh man the psychedelia

yep and honestly like i dig all the songs when im jammin em but i can only ever really recall bits of rapture, world of shit, angel of disease, sworn to the black, and god of emptiness when im not listening to the album
whereas i can practically hum every single riff and solo from abominations/altars on a whim

I like covenant better as a whole, but the best songs on this are better than all the songs on covenant. I'm not sure that even makes sense.

Blessed is also disjointed (the main reason why i have both at 4.5), but thats mainly due to all the re-recorded songs they have.
Covenant atmosphere is awesome, niggas avoid good production like the plague
