I prefer this to Reign In Blood. There is a great mix of fast tracks and slower, more menacing tracks. They are both classics but this edges it for me.

The cold war had just ended, and it was a peaceful period in western culture where everybody were obsessed with serial killers, because we need an amount of violence and potential danger in our life.
After a while we couldn't hide the fact that outside fiction, these people were not the fascinating and mysterious Hannibal Lecter-types we were led to believe. They were more like retards.
