Wheatus is one of the many bands (Alien Ant Farm is another good example) that had a hit or two around the late 90s and early 00s but then got greatly fucked over by a major label (Sony, or in AAF's case it was Universal), so their career ended up nowhere - despite the fact that they were a pretty talented bunch and deserved more recognition than simply being a one-hit wonder band.
