melodic bm is sweet from what i've heard so far (vinterland and stuff) so i'll prob go for dissection next

yee melodic is prob the easiest to get into because it has better production and is more similar to other m/. atmospheric is harder because of obvious reasons, and mayhem are of an older style that has a lot of thrash and venom influence
