This far exceeded my expectations, this absolutely slaps. The production is fantastic, can’t wait for my vinyl copy to arrive this week

Very comfortably my favourite "local" artist

(Mission is vancouver btw)

Couple of corny tracks on the first side (Versailles is not for me) but side 2 is insane. What an incredible album. Unrelenting and not at all what i expected.

She's done it again

wasn't seeing everyone liking this so much.

i don't even think a compilation of the best tracks here would rival Dedicated on tbh

just gave Day another shot and ughh, it's so....okay? some highlights forsure but this just isn't it for me. put on some Dedicated after and god, her hooks used to be larger than life. that's just not the case here for the most part.

It's interesting but like the songwriting here is clean, the production is tight, and the artistic direction is interesting... But the hooks aren't quite there, they're not overwrought and explosive for the most part. How strange.

I'm staying firmly on the Day train. Night is the half of this album that suffers the most from sameness or lack of exploration

The highlights shine brighter on Day for me, but there’s a few absolute snoozers. Where as Night is all low key bangers, with only one reaching the highs of Day, but only one real dud

Finally finished listening to all of this. Honestly not sure how I feel about it. When a double album was announced my fear was that the final result would end up feeling bloated, and I ended up being right. The Day/Night idea was cool in theory but I don't think it translated well; the second half feels more or less the same as the first, but maybe just a bit dancier.

By no means was this bad -- there are lots of highlights I'll be sure to come back to. But as a whole, this is probably her weakest album in a while and has plenty of "meh" songs. And I hear she's already released B-sides for it? Yeah, she needs someone in her circle to help with the whole "quantity vs. quality" issue lol.
