he has such an fantastic writing voice. very funny as well. just a guy making his observations on the modern world in an interesting way. i always get wrapped up in the stories.
and yeah social media criticism is a tight rope to walk in music especially but i think he pulls it off well without becoming stereotypical internet bad. very easy to go wrong.

Loving this album, and the review as well, I learned a lot about this band! This is way better than their previous one imo, You You You may be the “pop” song of the year. Basic Physics is another highlight, and I agree on the album ending with a very strong stretch of songs. Is it just me to hear Current 93 influences on Mr. Splitfoot?

i went to a park to meditate today (usually do it in the more controlled environment of my apartment, and i think it's more effective that way, but i couldn't stop myself going out today as it was beautiful out) and some mf'er was blaring something that sounded like this band lol.
like there's no way i don't think, borderline bumfuck midwest USA, and the dude drove up all loud and obnoxious and shit with his lack of a muffler or whatever & sporty but shitty car
lmfao
