And while the homewrecker claims aren't completely unfounded, I think it's worth nothing that Ethan Slater's a grown adult and it was his choice to leave his wife/kid behind. [2]

Also for some reason she gets the most flack for it, and for sure it’s pretty trash to pursue someone in a relationship, but it’s 100x worse from the person *in the relationship*.

'Personally I've had Oh Well and Bad Thing on repeat.'

Yeah I can't stop listening to Oh Well

the homewreaker thing was always stupid, there’s so many male artists who sing/rap about infidelity and no one bats an eye and some even call it real or vulnerable. Celebrities in general are bad about that

Funny, I would also rank Big Feelings last. For me it feels like the most skippable track.

Yeah, it's not bad, just a little bit forgettable compared to the other songs here.

What is this disrespect towards 'big feelings', I won't stand for it

(obviously joking, I understand that she's not doing anything grand in terms of vocals or even production here, but to me, its hook has been stuck in my head for days - otherwise, pretty good ranking Sowing, shows what a consistent album this is)

Listened to this while washing up the other day. Was a nice listen, nothing super impactful from a first play through but I find this a recurring theme from Ari's past 3 albums. Eternal Sunshine I felt a little luke warm on at first but it definitely grew on me with time.

think this is by far her worst work and prob the only album of hers i outright dislike. felt like songs like the t/t came off like a cry for help even before the news. she's insisting she's unbothered by everything on here at such a rate that renders the sentiment entirely unconvincing, all while seemingly hiding behind these mostly anonymous instrumentals. hope she gets better

Who would have ever thought that in order to land her, all you needed was to be some fucking dweeb who still had his baby teeth.

This is far from her most exciting album, but I do love the production on this. I think it opens particularly strong. It does feel like she's reigning herself in a little, the hooks are pretty weak (I know this is meant to be more melancholic, but even her slower songs still have really nice hooks e.g. needy, better off). That being said, she sounds incredible from a vocal standpoint. And I'm still coming back to it for a nice chilled listen.
