Good Review, well written .. you didnt get too much into strong descriptions and managed to give an overall view of the album. But I feel a 5 rating for the album is a lil too much ... This album is definitely not a classic ... the self-titled 'Audioslave' album .. yeah, but not this one ...

In my opinion it is their best album by far... but that doesn't mean that their previous releases aren't excellent also

That is the truth. They mixed it up well in this album, instead of each song sounding the same if you didnt know any better. And the turn-table guitar riffs are back

Tom's one of the greatest guitar players in the world. I can say the same for bass player Tim C. No words to describe Cornell's voice. To sum up: this is a classic alboum next to the greatest albums of all time.

Audioslave is very average and Origanal Fire is a horrible song. I think Sound Garden and Rage Against The Machine were much better.

Totally their best work, IMO.

My favourite tracks:

-One and the Same

-Original Fire

-Broken City

-Somedays (so amazing!)

-Moth

The original Audioslave album was great straight up rock (something I'm not usually a fan of), but I can't stand Original Fire and most of the band's sophomore album. This Message Edited On 10.31.06

Yeah, as much as I like this album, I don't think it stands as a classic next to albums such as Dark Side of the Moon etc.

A few songs are kinda meh, but the strong tracks on this album (Wide Awake, One and the Same, Original Fire) are awesome, some of the best rock I've heard in years. Hopefully that's a sign of things to come from them.
