This riffs hard and the vocals are excellent as well.

Some of these tracks are the heaviest they've ever done - Bully has some massive riffs.

Man I wish this gave me the dopamine it's giving you guys beyond just the first track. The mix kind of sucks all the impact out of every breakdown for me.

Bring back Machine! Ashes and Sacrament sounded so good. Wilbur's contributions are getting stale. Although I'll give the album credit and say it has a harshness that's been lacking since Wrath.

My brother just texted me "I think Lamb of God were all on a strict diet of bull semen when making this album. Only explanation."

I think he meant cause its so fucking masculine lmao but I thought that was worth sharing.

I do actually agree that Ashes and Sacrament have the best production, even though Palaces is my favorite - would be nice to have that sound back

Maybe it's because I've not really listened to LoG since 2015, but I really like this new one. Didn't have that on my 2026 bingo card.

Yeah, if you avoided the self-titled and Omens then this would seem like a pretty decent follow-up to Sturm und Drang

This is the first time I have listened to this band. Rec’d by my brother. I liked it. Lush production. Bass is booming and significant. A ton of unique riffs. Songs are short and sweet. Vocalist sounds like Howard Jones, great in my book. I will listen again.

If you liked this one, you will really enjoy their first 3 or 4 albums. I'd suggest listening to Ashes of the Wake next. Or, check out New American Gospel to hear how raw they used to sound. Randy especially. You can hardly decipher what he's saying on that one.

Best album since Sacrament. Production is a little iffy though but the quality of the music (and Randy's vocals} are top-tier.
