I think the formula they used does work and they are very good songwriters. I know it is essentially recycled and reformed material but it is by no means bad. I can safely say I enjoy all their albums to an extent even if the variation in sound is limited.

Unfortunately this was kinda like North Corridor for me. Just didn’t click completely. They’re only two albums I don’t love.
This is better than TNC though. A few phenomenal tracks, particularly opener and closer.j

This is really fracking solid. I like it alot (dumb and dumber) I like the moments where he shoots outside of his normal singing range that he relies on. For me it works. The lyrics are good too, never really noticed him ever talking about worldly events like our dystopian reality
