I actually found this much more emotional than Superunknown, even though its not a bad album whatsoever.

I still think Jar of Flies would be my favorite if it was a full-length.

I think Chris Cornell's latest album might be the best grunge album of all time. Just saying.

Sorry here little dude but I am gonna have to say your review sucks...but not for lack of effort. I was there buying Dirt the day it came out...same with Jar of Flies...same with everything AIC since Facelift. I don't have all day to rewrite your review, but I will do one soon. My main points are this - No ONE should review dirt who ever skipped over Rain When I Die and also only liked the first two mins of Damn That River! You also say you don't like the lyrics to Junkhead?! They are some of the catchiest and cleverest on the album...a complete finger in the face to the straight world...the best since Hendix's If 6 was 9...but with of COARSE a darker edge to it. Sounds to me like you just like the music and melodies that Cantrell creates so wonderfully, but you don't care at all for the heart and soul of AIC, which is their lyrics or the energy and anger contained and expressed within them. Well those of us that are such devout fans of the band love them equally for both and cannot separate the two. In fact, it is just because of those two things combined so perfectly that makes AIC the best band to come out of the grunge era. They didn't whine, they shoved a fucking boot in your face. Bless them...for it. And Dirt was their masterpiece and you break it down here in this review into something much less than what it is because you totally miss the point, the heart and soul, of the work. You just like the music and don't care about the meaning...Creed is more your band then. Leave reviewing AIC albums to those that understand them. When I first head Rain When I Die....I understood...
