Absolutely not lol, band has had so many banger album covers. Discouraged Ones, Tonight's Decision, Last Fair Deal, Viva, Great Cold Distance. This one just looks strange and awkward

their decline started when Travis Smith stopped doing their artwork

Pretty good Katatonia albums pretty good. Has a couple more standouts for me than the last one did but the last one that rly hit for me was Hall of Farts.



Every album has at least a few songs I love tho.

Their bar for art is pretty solid but outside GCD which has an excellent aesthetic, I don't care about the others you mentioned. Discouraged and Tonight have a pretty cool goth vibe going for them but i don't think they stand out in the grand scheme of things that much. Fall of Hearts or Dead End Kings would be my favorite artwork of theirs.

God dammit

Lilac and Temporal are the only two tracks that really stand out for me. I was pretty excited for the album after hearing those two singles, but unfortunately the rest of it is mostly just boring. This is a huge step down from the last album imo.

It’s really good. Very much a grower which I’ve seen many people say and it rings true for me as well. Definitely deserves better than the 3.1 average or whatever it’s at rn on here.

A Katatonia album bashed all over the webs....strange times we're living in.

As for the album itself it sounds like a boring NitND. Hope this will change with further listenings.

The 3.7 average for Dance of December Souls is a disgrace actually, should be at least a 4 [2]

Haaaard agree, putting on some nice headphones and listening to these is so blissful and I always want more w/ this vibe from them. Lacquer was such a favorite on that album I feel like that track is underrated as hell.

Been really partial to The One You Are Looking For is Not Here lately.

Also agree @ DEK and Fall of Hearts best art.
