"the magnitude and breadth of fantasy fandom i.e. "lore" this band is subject to and the cultist-like behaviour at their gigs, definitely speaks to the sort of real world, outside 'family person' (whatever that means), who would attach themselves to ST's art" LMAOO SAVAGE

I refuse to believe any other explanation. It’s how the world works after all. Any mainstream-ish pub could be guilty of it

It was weird watching these guys at Download, the crowd were just kinda standing there looking a bit lifeless lol. Looked like there was a small pit by me in the opening two songs (I was about 10 rows from front) but it was a pretty dead atmosphere, even amongst the hardcore fans. Felt like I was at a Dream Theater gig, which I wasn't expecting at all. It gave me chance to soak in the show I guess! The overall set design and lighting were actually phenomenonal though, I think even the haters can admit that.

How anyone can mosh to this is beyond me

Yet media will tell you that the crowd went wild. Can't trust them anymore (not sure if you ever could but yeah)

Of course they were lifeless btw, they watched a freaking pop band headline a rock/metal festival. Must have been some of the most awkward stuff ever

As a real world, outside family man I have to agree

They did it again, another phenomenal album.

It's called being deeply moved without the need to mosh. Band can still be metal without a circle pit every two seconds. Metal can be emotionally moving, too, and that's what this band does to perfection.

doesn't help that vessel has one of the most awkward stage presences, he either is just pacing back and forth or is standing there shaking is hand and staring at the ground. not to mention he just sounds bad live.

I'm deeply moved by Hatebreed to start whooping the pit
