Calm down, he can review whatever he wants to.

People, you can't tell him his opinion is wrong or that he shouldn't review Metallica anymore. This site was made to incorprate anyone who wants to contribute, even if their opinion differs from what most people think.

Since the review made no suggestions. From KEA try:
The Four Horseman
Motorbreath
(Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth
Phantom Lord
No Remorse
Seek and Destroy
I don't have a problem with him writing a negative review. It's just the review stinks.
MoP is gold next to KEA, yet they deserve the same rating? what
Yeah, compared to KEA, but it still sucked.
Ok, this is pretty much bs. You're not bashing metallica here, youre bashing thrash in general. All thrash bands are like this. Ill bet you would hate "Reign in Blood" by slayer. And thats fine, thrash isnt for everyone. But Metallica perfected thrash and deserve the respect for doing so. Stop acting like Metallica is the only band in the world that plays what you call "recycled/reused" riffs.
I liked how you ended saying no one should ever buy this album. This album is MADE for people who like thrash. If you dont like thrash then dont take it out on metallica alone.
I do like some thrash, just stop Metallica. And I didn't think it was appropriate/good to talk about other bands in a Metallica review. Oh, and read the frist sentance of the review jackass.

My comment was to long. So heres part 2.
'll wade here since my comment was deleted with the
original review
There is now way you can say this album is unoriginal and know what you are
talking about.
Scenario 1; I am a teenybopper 15 year old and recently got into Metallica via one of
their later albums. I see Kill 'em All and say to myself "hey you sexy devil, you
loved that cd you bought, how about checking out where these groovers started?".
So you listen to the album, and hate it cos its so raw and sounds like everything out
now.
Scenario 2; I am a 20 or 30-odd year old. I started listening to metal ages ago and
was either old enough to listen to this album when it first became widely available,
or was made to listen to it by a friend before many bands sounded like this.
Hmmm, which scenario do you fall under? I personally am scenario 2, and cannot
under any circumstances allow anyone say this is unoriginal. In 1983, how many
bands sounded like this? Not many. So take you comments and stick them. I
personally don't love this album, and rate their next three albums amongst the
best ever.
*takes breath*
Think about the original context for the album you want to discuss before making
stupid comments...
How about I review the album as I see it. And I could take this from the original
context, most people when this album was first released didn't really like it. The
metal heads hated the punk, the punks hated the metal.
Ok we got it you hate metallica. Now stop making
reviews of them. Try reviewing something you actually like and enjoy listening to.

Look at my other reviews...

I read the first sentence of this review, and I get that a lot of what you said was sarcastic. Still, it's ridiculous that you claim to like thrash and hate Metallica. In fact youre the first person ive heard of that dislikes metallica but likes some thrash. And youre clearly trying to make a funny joke about putting "It's Metallica" in both the pros and cons of this review and ur MOP review if i remember correctly, which makes this come accross as even more biased

Oh good God shut up about bias! You are just as biased for them as he is against them.

Well, considering his rating for this album is a 4, which is actually .2 below the average album rating that leads me to believe he's not very biased.

Uh, have you checked his other ratings? And anyone with common sense can tell that he obviously really likes them.
And Metallicaman, I'm growing weary of debating whether or not you and the whole slew of people getting on DV's case are biased, especially when you are. Seriously, why the fuck do you care if he hates Metallica and reviews them? Get over it.
Oh, and the fact that you actually take the overall album rating as a serious indicator is ridiculous. IT'S METALLICA. Check how many people have rated this five stars. How many of them have you ever seen around. See, people have the odd habit of coming here and rating a bunch of albums 5's and never coming back. Many Metallica albums are the target(s) of such votes. This Message Edited On 09.01.06

Half the people who use the word bias, have no clue what it means, they just think 1/5 = the entire review is bias.

Haha, calm down there Bronathan. just because someone really likes a band doesn't make them biased. I will however, admit that I am biased. Not going to deny that. I wubs my Metallica. Furthermore, I don't really care if he doesn't like Metallica, or reviews them. I just don't care for the reviews themeselves.

Yes I do like them, theyre in my top 20 favorite bands. And it's not just metallica, theres a lot of bands I like more that I dont argue as a biased fanboy, but as an unbiased fan. theres a difference. I honestly think in an unbiased way that this is a very good album.

Look, you can dislike the review, that's fine. Hate it, even. But the fact that you're flinging around titles about the reviewers credibility and intelligence etc. for something that is ultimately his opinio speaks for itself.

I don't think I've ever said anything to question his credibility, or intelligence. I said he was biased, which aside from my bias is still true. I've never said he was dumb or anything of that sort.

Meh, I'll admit yesturday I was a bit overzealous with my comments, took things a little too far etc. I was in a bad mood. Apologies and such. This review isn't quite as bad as I (and most others) made it out to be. Though I'm still not fnd of it.

I haven't given the reviewer a single title about his credibility, and I know its his own opinion and stuff. But, in my honest opinion, I think this band and album is too good to be judged in a biased manner, and it sickens me to see people say "oh... its metallica" and that being part of their basis of their opinion. and that doesnt just go for metallica it goes for any band.
I would have voted a good review for this if he had convinced me he went into listening to this album with an open mind towards it, or atleast made some decent points about the album.

I didn't like this review, the MOP review was great and all that stuff, I actually liked; but you aren't really doing justice for this album. Sure, your comments have a great backup, but most of your review is concentrated on the negative aspects of the album. I know the joke statement you made at the begining of the review means nothing really, you are really expresing what your feel about this album.
Giving KEA a 1 is like giving St. Anger a 5.
