The run of Perfect Soul, Keep Sweet and Soft Spine is good fun but overall I prefer Eternal Blue by some margin

It was kind of fun. Ride the Wave was the only song I liked instantly and unironically. They constantly are in this weird limbo between blueprint djent bro stuff and npc popcore, but sometimes the balance is just right, or its far enough for the song to have a goofy appeal.

Really loving this album. It and UV have been my favorite things they've done. Eternal Blue was good, but didn't satisfy me as much as the first EP and the singles they did before it.

It’s darker. It’s more progressive. It’s actually heavier when it needs to be. It’s overproduced.

Ngl I'm still not tired of Dan Braunstein's production. Met the guy a couple times too, seemed really chill and friendly. I'm happy for him!

Man this album is just really solid, I'd say it's more consistent than Eternal Blue for sure
