How Black Rainbow is a high rated favorite blows my mind. It’s actually bad in my opinion. It doesn’t only chug around on rails, but it is very flat the whole way through. There is nothing but robotic vocals and then it just poofs into the next song. Idk. That whole song was everything wrong with this album wrapped up into a single song for me

I feel like they heavily lean towards stage presence with every release, tracks like Black Rainbow would go hard in a live audience that's already riled up. at least they're going for the traditional aspect of "go nuts in the pit" and not leaning into the more "theatrical" moments they have.
