There's some stuff I really dig about this album, but I think one of the glaring issues is its lack of pacing. It feels like a collection of songs instead of an intentionally packaged album with ebb and flow. The lurches between their heavier songs and lighter songs are jarring and a little atmosphere, some interludes, or just some intentionality around track list would do this album wonders.

Basically Ect was annoyed SB and Jinjer get more publicity and following than Rolo Tomassi and Svalbard and bands like that since he thinks SB is pretty mid. And then Reli slapped him with his feminist dick and eventually harmony was achieved

Im also pretty darn feminist myself. I think women in metal is great, it annoys me people make a big deal out of it or pretend its rare when there loads of women led bands/projects in the more extreme/obscure subgenres of metal. So i was annoyed that people treat the two aftormentioned bands(and poppy) as this grand sensational thing like it hasnt existed before. Its great women are getting more recognition in metal and im thankful for it but its frustrating when other bands dont get the same

Albums fine if not for weird production chocies and lack of song endings. Crystal roses should have been in the middle, soft spine should have had dual vocals between Courtney and the other dude in the band or a feature artist. If have two vocalists use them. Also stop this fucking trend of over layering vocals with effects if the artist can actually sing/hit the notes
