Kin is best agreed (Valley is also acceptable answer but I prefer Kin)

As far as deathcore goes this is immaculate, it's disappointing that they didn't break any new ground, as good as it is, it provides nothing we haven't heard before, it's just done better

Seems most good deathcore is a refinement of the formula rather than an advancement. I also don't know what else you can do with deathcore that hasn't been done or doesn't end up moving into slam territory.

"moving into slam territory"

Yeah and they bring their hyper-compressed overproduction along too...

The Abysmal Gospel is shooting up in my album power rankings, i fucking LOVE the d-beat + mid-register-vocals part (the chorus?)

The other day I listened to this and then I listened to A New Era of Corruption right after.

It's a night and day difference for me, A New Era has riffs for days compared to Hymns. Mammoth God and the closing track are decent but everything else is just a generic chug fest to me.
