I didn’t get any weirdness about that statement other than truly, it does kind of look like that at a glance probably unintentionally. Which is funny only because it’s probably unintentional. Don’t thinks there’s a homophobic nature to it in the review at all.

I mean, I took it as pointing out accidental irony from dudes who lean a lot on a particularly toxic brand of masculinity, and that does relate to the general point of creative bankruptcy being made on the rest of the review rather than a cheap shot. But I can see why it comes off worse to some people, even if I don't agree.
