I’ve discussed this ad nauseam by this point but it’s not about liking stuff less, to me, it’s more about differentiation and cataloguing music effectively. I like to have a proper rating “curve” in a sense. Whether it works is up for debate of course.
If you wanna say it can be a bit obsessive arguing with yourself over a .5 (or 1.0) here or there, than I certainly wouldn’t disagree tho

To be fair, I think my ratings (while on average are higher than a lot of peoples', sure) pretty accurately reflect how much I enjoy each album and how good I think it is. So in that sense, I feel like I do enjoy music more than the average person

Band is indeed GOATed. Also gotta point out just how great Lille is on drums. He's so everywhere and in the pocket it's as if the kit is tumbling down a flight of stairs. Like some convulsing chaotic death machine going off the rails. Can't help but love it
