I was waiting for that release and really wanted to check this out but with antisemitic words in some of the songs I won't . As a Jewish it is very disturbing . I won't listen to these guys anymore .

I don't think they meant it the way it is coming across in red horizon. However I can see why this might be offending because I think that the wording could have been improved, getting the message across without them being caught as disrespectful. 100% sure these guys are not anti-semitic though

yeah those lyrics are cringe

| |
What is antisemitic about them, kaparoni?

Knew immediately the artwork was Adam Burke. 🐐

Album slays, probably my favorite from them but I need to revisit Sea to confirm, it has been awhile. Weaker Wolves and Lower Purpose are the only two tracks that don't do much for me. Hostage and Savior are still near the top for me.
Also seriously doubt that they're antisemitic, you can criticize how a war is handled without being racist.

Red Horizon is an anti-zionist song, not an anti-jewish song.
|
| |
The line:
"Every pocket lined with gold
has cost a soul in other places"
strikes me as a tad bit more than just anti-zionist
|

It’s most likely about the military industrial complex. This seems extremely tenuous.

Hostage is the best song FFAA has ever wrote imo.

It's most likely a blatant anti-semitic stereotype yeah

So you can't say that Zionists are profiting off of human suffering in Palestine because "money = jew"? What a shallow and purposefully vapid interpretation.

Yeah I was going to say how tf you take that bit of lyrics and attribute that to it lol
|
| |
@ "money = jew" and "that bit of lyrics"
It's specifically the word "gold" I'm looking at here, which has been used metaphorically in attribution to wealthy or greedy jews by non-jews in literature for centuries. Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice is the one that immediately comes to mind.

I think the clean vocals are one of my favorite aspects of this album.
"savior has the most badass opening scream"
Yeah if those highs were used more often I think I'd like this album more. I actually find the mid range harsh vocals kinda tiresome here after awhile, they just feel kinda bland to me.

Love the anti-zionist = antisemitism idiotry
|

Next up, get low is going to tell us all they’re invoking a form of ancient ‘blood libel’ because they’re referencing the object reality of Israel massacring people. Just ridiculous nonsense. The only person equating gold here to Jewish people is you.

Quite frankly i'm surprised that people still give a fuck about political messaging that they disagree with being used in songs. On next album they can make a song called "fuck you *my_first_name_here*", in which they will sing about beating me with hammers and calling me racial slurs and I will still listen to it (might respectfully lower the rating by 0.5 if this will be the case though).
Having said that, i see literally 0 antisemitism on red horizon, equating the word "gold" with racism is insane im sorry
