Outstanding rev Milo!

Easily my favourite release of the year. They really went above and beyond with this one, from Haxan Cloak dread to completely blown out black psychedelia and massive bass drops, yet still managing to sound extremely cohesive. It’s very rare that I want to replay an album after the first play through, but I couldn’t resist here.
3:20 in Muuntautuja - absolutely nobody else is doing it like this.

Thankee ascended drunkard!
>Listened again and agree that it kind of goes out quietly. I feel like it would have worked better if they did a wall-of-noise transition into the last track instead of fading out and building back in. Felt like credits rolling but the space between made it awkward.
I think the sequencing might work a little better if you shift the song that goes full noiz to be the penultimate track, but I have not tested this theory

This is the soundtrack to an insect orgy and I am all the way here for it. Fantastic release. Didn’t know I needed trip hop in my psychedelic black metal but here we are.

Penultimate track on this is so spooky. Hitting perfect around this lovely time of year.

Album is so sick

This is some trippy shit indeed, three songs in.
There's even an industrial undercurrent here.

This band never disappoints, although their first two are still reigning supreme in their discog. I must be one of the biggest fans of their debut album around actually haha. This one is at least on par with the rest, I just love them all.
Digging: Ulcerate - Cutting the Throat of God |

Such a creative record. I cannot imagine how nutty the experience of hearing this band live must be

Indeed. I think I'm gonna 4,5 all their discog cause I've been binging it for some weeks and their creativity and imagination is off charts. One of the best bm bands around.

Haven't listened to the first two albums, but I plan to, thanks for weighing in.
