Yeah after one listen, I think this is more consistent than Gods Country but doesn’t hit the same highs imo.
Maybe it’ll grow on me with more listens, but I feel like the production doesn’t have that same punch that Gods Country had. The tones on that record were heavy as shit here it just doesn’t hit the same.
Shame is an early favorite.

That’s wild to me yoyo. Only track there they I don’t particularly care for is Anywhere. I even like the spoken word track and I normally hate that kind of shit

Similar feelings, this one seems a lot less gimmicky and more grounded this time

I'm really digging the grimier production honestly, the more filth caked these guys sound the better. Definitely a more focused sounding record, not as off the wall insane as I thought it was gonna be but in a good way.
Frownland is so awesome

I too remember not clicking with their debut but listening to the singles for this it gave me hard Daughters YWGWYW vibes so that had me intrigued

The New World slaps so fucking hard, song kinda reminds me of Daughters.

Whole record slaps. Honestly not a bad or less captivating song so far and I'm just missing the last two tracks. Way more consistent than god's country although not as manic, but still really hard hitting stuff
