Yeah this'll probably go down as my album of the year. What am I saying, "probably". It will. I listened to "She's Leaving You" about 30 times before this even dropped.
I'm sure it was the review for Boat Songs on this site which led me to him. The cover was intriguing enough to click, but then I see a Berman namedrop (that's all it takes), and from the opening chords of Hangover Game I was hooked. It's great to see he's sort of blowing up now (not surprised), he definitely deserves it. This one definitely feels "bigger", but all the charm's still there. Guy can write a fucking tune. I love it all.
