I feel like a lot of these little audio samples in this are originally about psychedelic experiences. I swear one of them was a Terence McKenna clip, or maybe I'm just trippin.

Yeah this slaps, especially Bodega Head and the opening run.

This thing is otherworldly, one of the greatest albums of its kind, I'm not sure if Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair counts but it's the closest comparison I have of one that still blows me away like this is doing to me, oh and I Loved I Hated I Destroyed I Created by The Elijah

Also No Gospel is likely the best song of the year

No Gospel is unreal, SOTY might still go to Sit & Mourn (Knocked Loose) or Come What May (Imminence) for me but it's up there

Speaking of gospel, and albums with the word moon in it.. I'd almost dare say this is almost in some almost equal standing with a certain absolute classic.

I think No Gospel is by far the song ive listened to the most this year. Application for release from the Dreams by Thursday is close in that regard but in quality No Gospel is the better song. I love both tho lol

AOTY if not AOTD. Fuck the whiny staff members who picked Brat over this because they didn’t like screamo enough. Brat is extremely overrated and this is 2020 all over again… It is the Sputnik thing to not give the proper album its deserved recognition because it is hipster or edgy.

Imagine getting this bent out of shape that your favourite album isn’t no1 on sputnikmusic’s top 50, it’s really not that deep. Have a juice box and calm down
