Third best album from 1 of 30 best bands ever, criminally underrated by Mass Media.

I remember when I heard the news of her passing, I was having an after-work drink with my girlfriend and some of our friends on a Friday. Everything was amazing, I'd had a great week! We were all so happy. At some point in the evening I decided to pick my phone to check my phone to check the time and I got a text from my old roommate that Dolores had passed on. I got up like I was going to the washrooms and left the bar and cried like a baby sitting on the flowerbed outside. Took an uber and went home without telling anyone anything because I knew no one would understand any of it(of course I had some explaining to do later). No other celebrity death had ever affected me the same way before. Only Scott Hutchison and Michael K. Williams have affected me the same way since. Depressed like crazy 10 years ago I would spin this on repeat and I'd sleep well that night.

Not necessarily a bad thing but I didn't expect for this to be so soft considering Zombie :o

"Not necessarily a bad thing"

True. Album is awesome. If any, the only reason this wouldn't be a 5, it would be cause of Zombie. Which is curious cause Zombie is a 5/5 song. So I totally feel you.

I like Zombie, but I always get a bit agitated when it becomes the only reason people ever talk about The Cranberries. I understand it's their most popular, but they had so many other great songs that never seem to get much recognition

100% agree

Actually when I saw Thou and Emma Ruth Rundle did that cover of Hollywood I was so happy. Such a good track.

Why shouldn't Zombie be their most popular song? It encapsulates Irish pain so well in the context of their brutal history, there's no other song that can match it emotionally.
