This review is way too blatantly biased to be of any use to those wishing to explore the album on their own.

Wonderful review. This is what a track by track should look like.

Got this recently with In the Absence of Truth and I'm digging it atm. Altered Course might be some of their best work yet; feels like this song could go on forever near the end; absolutely beautiful soundscape.

Holy fuck you scare me sometimes because I fully agree with you DirtyS4nch3z. That song just sends me into a drift that I never want to return from. In the Absence of Truth is one of my favourite records of all time. Dulcinea will blow your mind, simply because of the long build at the end of that tune (also tied with Altered Course for best Isis tune). I'm sure you will love them both judging by your tastes in music.

Hahaha. You also scare me sometimes; i knew there was a chance you might hit up my post but didn't expect that the song was your favorite here. It's probably mine too (at least for now) but So Did We and In Fiction are also incredible. As for In the Absence of Truth, Dulcinea was one of the first to stick out for me.

AHHHHHHHHHHH *spooked* now!!! hahaha

So Did We was so fucking amazing when I heard them play it live. Then they ended their set with Dulcinea and I was on my hands and knees praising this band.

I've had this for a couple months now and I still don't see what's so great about it.

This is truly beautiful, love it. I'm going to listen to it a lot during night before falling asleep. It's a great trip.

I enjoyed this album more than Oceanic, probably because of the less hardcore vocals and more atmosphere.

A lot of people might bitch at me for this, but this album is just okay to me. It becomes very repetitive and makes me lose interest after a while. It's good to listen to every now and then, and for an occasional workout.

tired of reviewers who try to showcase (usually terrible) writing skills instead of describing the album. neg'd
