Neige once again sounds angelic. Going to need a few more listens, but I loved the first playthrough.

Yeah l’enfant de la lune is a standout.

Drums on this sound incredible. Love Neige to death but Winterhalter is the unsung hero of this band.

Drums were recorded in the same old mansion as Kodama drums

Alright, 3 more back-to-back listens, dis a 5 for me. Best since Ecallies.

My 3rd and 4th listens were almost totally different than my first two. This thing is layered af, one of their most complex and intricate albums. Amethyste and L'Enfant are insane.

Been awaiting this so long. Finally giving it a go. Man, that opening track is BEAUTIFUL. It gave me chills. It’s like if Ecailles had a baby with Shelter. That’s what I was kinda hoping this was gonna be. Hope the rest follows suit

Man this one could very well be their best. Absolutely stellar album. It mixes the sound of my fav two albums by them, debut and Kodama. I'm gonna be spinning this a lot.

Yeah I’m thinking this is my favorite Alcest album too. I got Shelter and Souvenirs at a 5, I know, but I will probably wind up putting this one at a 5 too

this doesn't beat the debut and kodama for me but it's the closest they've ever got - some stunning material on this one. just think it could have done with some tweaking to get the best out of the material - again, more realistically a 4 for me.

I think this is their least immediate album to date, I'm a seasoned Alcest fanboy and it took me a few listens to really get it.

The way all of the instruments blend and flow in some sections is extraordinary. Not drastically different from previous stuff but the writing and how it's put together is legit next level.

The whole album is stunning but L’Enfant de la Lune must be one of the best songs they've ever written.
