Just listening to this for the first time. I feel like moments of this put me in a trance (in a good way)

Just diving in now, that trumpet part on the first track going into the epic guitar solo is so fun

The trajectory and parallels between In Vain and Be'lakor are noticeable. Both had debut LPs in 2007, both have 4 albums since of immense quality and both explore that progressive melodic death metal with creative and meticulous songwriting. For me both their fourth albums are my favorite so far as well howboutthat

Revisiting this album now. It’s quality. Horrible news about the singer. That makes me sad.
