Oathbreaker, Amenra (not much as emotionally crushed me or provided as much carthasis as Amenra), Swallow the Sun: Moonflowers, Emma Ruth Rundle, My dying Bride, Lingua ignota(probs spelt wrong), Anathema, Absent in body, 40 watt sun, Mother(Be). King Woman, Leprous (newer records, old ones slap tho), some Ne Obliviscaris (Forgot not, Eyrie, phyric, Misericorde)
Ill have a bit more of a think Ive drawn a blank.

Thanks. God Amenra are so good, hearing Ogentroost on live TV every week for a while was a trip and I loved it.

Amenra live is the most powerful live show Ive ever seen, nothing has co.e close to it. Opeth was amazing but Amenra was just incredible. Diaken is devastating and overshadowed(like everything on that record) by A solitary reign.
Edit: this is a 2.5, im just salty this is taking up room in my head and the more i think about it the more pissed off i get

So if these guys paint their whole bodies’ black and shoehorn RnB and Trap into their music, is that offensive?

The black body paint in nu metalcore is such a wild trend, even local bands around here have started doing it. I hope they ruin lots of their cool stage outfits

nu metalcore facing its ultimate downfall over a laundry issue would be the twist of fate we all thoroughly deserve

Nu-metalcore as a movement is a complete and utter wash save for Tallah.
Also Centralya is pretty neat but the nu-metal influence is pretty light there.

"Lipstick, chemtrails, red flags, pink nails
With one eye on the door, other eye on a rail
Other, other eye following a scarlet trail
And the last few drops from the Holy Grail, now
Rose gold chains, ripped lace, cut glass
Blood stains on the collar, please, just don't ask
Be the first to the feast, let's choke on the past
And take to the broken skies at last"
who let him cook??????

"How Sleep Token made Metal SEXY!"
sounds like gen z clickbait goofiness
are you serious
this is the most performatively-"sexy", emotionally bankrupt, hollow album I've heard in years.

A lot of 4.5s and 5s from the same people that bought into the whole “Billie eilish is an industry plant” but y’all aren’t ready for that conversation

whoever thinks this is sexy must have some bloody bizarre fetishes is all I can say, because in any vaguely conventional sense this certainly ain’t it
I’m still not convinced this album wasn’t written ‘collaboratively’ using AI and the gimmicks are just a front for all this nonsense, seriously.
Taylor Swift probably funded it via Matt Healy, because some of the aura surrounding this (particularly in how tasteless or juvenile a lot of the subject matter is presented), is definitely giving me The 1975 vibes.
