Everything about Misericorde II is perfection, so much emotion in the guitar work on that one.

I’m not sure how to explain it, but I feel like the songs with extended instrumental sections are really the high point of this band, and the more vocals they force in, the more it takes away from the build up.
Just not really a fan whenever they try the whole tech/clean stuff. Just feels like their instrumental work is leagues ahead of anything else they do.
production is pretty mid too imo.
MisericordeII is probably the highlight here

This is the most nothing record I've heard all year. Maybe it'll grow on me with further listens but absolutely nothing dtuck out to me.
Never considered myself a big fan of this band, but there other records all had moments throughout that hooked me pretty good.

These guys coming to San Fran with Persephone, could be a fun show perhaps

its actually crazy to think that they auditioned this bassist on youtube for a highly prominent band, and the followup record they mix his instrument higher than any of the others
