Nevermind, I've had the "this is the greatest song they've done" thought like five times now and I'm not even done with disc 1. My expectations were kinda high but they've blown it out of the water so far. I will probably insta-5 this lol

Album would've been a 5 if it ended at 93696 and Red Crown II didn't exist. It definitively has their best work on it, but it's just so fucking bloated and long and tiring to listen to in full. Maybe I'll up it to a 4 with another listen or two.

If Antigone II was 4 minutes shorter, it would be my pick for the best song they've ever done. The ending is some of the most musical stuff I've heard recently. But man, they draw some shit on and on.

Listening to this in 2 sittings felt a lot more manageable when getting into this. Gets a lot easier to hear as a full album piece after the 6th or 7th listen.
