One of my favorite Nocte (Gnocchi) moments involving progcore was when he listened to Novelists' album C'est La Vie when it dropped and he said that he liked it, and then most likely never listened to it again.

One doesn't disprove the other.

Did not mean to imply that one disproved the other, I just thought it was cute, because at that time I didn't know you liked any progcore

This is probably a bit off but this almost reminds me a little of Counterparts. It's more straightforward than I was hoping for based upon the early hype and the sensational artwork, but you can really hear the emotion pouring out of these songs. It's also very consistent. Loving Immolation of Night right now as a personal favorite, could see this growing to a 4 if I find reasons to keep listening.

First time hearing about them. First listen sounds great. Reminds me of Currents.

"Album is very good but seems to be a small step down from The Sun Sleeps for me. That EP is still hands down the best Marcus-era release these guys have dropped."

Can agree with this. I think the album is great, but no song on here is better than either song from that EP imo.
