Edit: In Times and Vertebrae are the two modern Enslaved albums I don't really appreciate.

Since I've almost concluded my year long dive into Enslaved's music now I'm probably gonna make a ranked list after jamming the new one to a sufficient degree. Utgard aswell since I feel I haven't really grasped that album yet.



I feel like my question from page 3 kind of went under after the pb so I'm gonna pose it here again.

I have not jammed the full album yet, mainly basing this on the singles they released prior.

Congelia is quite a dissonant track, overall I just think this one is multi-layered as heck.

more dissonant than their last couple. And yeah, very thickly layered. This is my favorite of theirs from last decade. I did a discog run earlier this year after having previously only knowing a handful of albums and man was it amazing. Definitely agree they don’t have a single bad album. Even their lowest rated here, “Blodhemn”, slapsss
