Worship is better. Far more variety and stronger songwriting, especially in the lyrics. And it's a better album front-to-back.

Yyyyyyyyyyyyyeah except that musically this album is inferior in a lot of ways. They all stepped up the game musically in every way on Worship and there's a lot more balance between the heavy and soft stuff. With EYEWTKAS every song has the same basic emotion (i.e., anger/rage) running through it and most of the songs are all heavy/loud/whatever. Plus there's crap songs like "Hurting And Shoving" and "Babe". And Daryl's lyrics are pretty childish, if not overtly misogynistic.

mysogynism leads to win...i haven't listened to w and t as much as i probably should but it just doesn't hit as hard, even though musically it's better...i feel the same about this as i do a band like say, HORSE the band...tho they have grown leaps and bounds musically, i can't get into anything they made after R. Borlax because the quirks are what make it amazing.
Same here, though it's not as polished as Worship, it has those quirks/imperfections that just put it over the rest...that plus daryl's performance is much better on thisThis Message Edited On 09.01.08

Oh God you're not seriously inferring that R.Borlax is better than The Mechanical Hand, are you? For real bro, R.Borlax is mad overrated. Yeah it was unique. Yeah it was crazy. But the band also was so sloppy they sounded like they'd fall apart at any second and musically they don't have sh*t on TMH. There's two classic songs, about three good/solid ones, and 1/2 an album of filler.
Better vocals on EYEWTKAS? Maybe he's more spastic and unpredictable here, but in terms of actual singing W&T eats this for breakfast. Daryl's vocals are far more controlled, nuanced, and as a result a lot more effective on W&T. To each his own I suppose.

Never liked anything on R. Borlax besides Cutsman.
W&T does destroy this, but I guess I can understand where he is coming from. This record has an easy-to-relate to vibe in terms of emotion where W&T is a little more cryptic.

on the decline, but still really good. I still can't imagine Daryl being the singer on that album though

I'm like 99% sure that it's him when you can actually tell that it's Geoff singing otherwise it's someone else (Daryl?). From what I've read, Geoff is primarily a guitarist with backing vocals on the album.
from the AP interview:
"So who are the members involved with this project, and what do they do in the band? Besides you and vocals, obviously.
Well, I actually mostly played guitar and did some of the singing. The rest of the band are in contracts, so they're anonymous. "This Message Edited On 09.02.08

I thought Daryl was the main vocalist on UN. Is it someone else?

This album is great, but I agree with StrizzMatik that W & T is a better album overall and flows better than this one, because of the dynamics found in and between the songs and the production and I thinks W & T stands the test of time a little bit better than this album, even though it is still a really good record. Does anybody know any news about the third Glassjaw album other than the few songs posted a while back? This Message Edited On 09.04.08

Dude it's definitely Daryl doing the screams on the UN record. Rickley confirmed it in one of those interviews.

EYEWTKAS and Motel of the White Locust are two of my favorite songs ever (three including the hidden track), it really completes this album and the overall theme of Daryl completely thrashing out on this girl
