never understood why he chose to leave the band. maybe it's the fact that he wanted to live in japan

I've read that he didn't like the pop metal that Megadeth was doing or something like that.

I think he just wanted to do something different which is fair enough... Classic lineup right here though.

"I've read that he didn't like the pop metal that Megadeth was doing or something like that."

yea, he said he wanted Megadeth to move towards a more aggressive sound and that he'd rather have been playing straight pop music than the pop-influenced metal Megadeth was playing at the time

Ah, Risk is pretty decent overall actually... Get's too much bashing. Really enjoy it from time to time.

I hate it that it's almost impossible to get some classics with the original mastering / production. Hate this remastered / remixed bs... I want to hear how it's been intended to sound in the first place.

agree with this. It's impossible to find the original records on sale nowadays, and the bad thing is that for some songs they re-recorded vocals (think to "Take No Prisoners")

usually for bigger bands the remaster is designed for radio play so it tends to be brick walled to hell. hate that

yeah, just think to the Iron Maiden 1998 remasters. What a horrible way to ruin some classic records
