I'm not even talking about comparing obscure stuff with the big 4 or other really successful thrash bands necessarily. I mean there's a reason why bands like At War are nowhere near as highly praised as Heathen by those who have heard both.

Damn, at the beach too? Sounds like an awesome day. My gal and I went to Cali for our anniversary and all we did was get pizza every day from this amazing pizza joint and then just go sit on the beach and eat it. Ahhh... Good times.

When we went last year, we stayed in LA in some shithole area. Like, so shitty that the gas stations all had bulletproof glass separating the cashier from you and even Taco Bell had that shit in their drivethru. I'd never seen that before despite California being like my second home and it was crazy. This year we stayed in San Diego like... 15 minutes away from Sea World right off the highway
