i love dawn patrol, vocals are creepy, bass jams and the atmosphere is awesome

plus it flows into the title track so perfectly that i just consider it an interlude pretty much

Nah i just think Dawn Patrol was completely unnecessary. the last minute of the title track is an orgasm

why would you 5 an album if you think it has an unnecessary track

doesn't that take away from the perfection that is a 5?

"Good enough to appeal to someone who doesn't really know or dig the genre I mean"

Yeah, as far as Metal and Thrash in general go, this is rather accessible, which I think it's one of
it's virtues since albums with this sort of technicality are usually hard to get into, but even my
dad, who strongly dislikes metal, gets pumped by the riff from "Holy Wars"

Dave's vocals are annoying at first but you can get used to them if you just focus on the
instrumentation

in general it isnt that technical dude, Poison Was The Cure is and a couple of riffs here and there are but apart from that its not.

Brain Drill lol, Cryptopsy, Immolation, Suffocation.

Most beginners could nail most of this album (not inc solos but after about 9 months you could do a few of them off here)

well after i had been playing for 4 months i could play Holy Wars, Five Magics, Lucretia and Tornado of Souls. This album is NOT technical apart from poison was the cure, the one riff that is rather fiddly out of the aforementioned songs is the one from Tornado thats like (from memory) 7 79 10 (7h9p7) 10 (7 9 10) [9p7] -7- or whatever (used brackets and dashes to signify different strings). even thats easy as shit. This album really isnt actaully as difficult as it sounds. Take No Prisoners is rather ermmm fast but not particularly hard, theres WAY tougher thrash out there than this

Poison Was The Cure is pretty ridiculous though (if you play martys parts-dave just plays the chords live)
