Album's definitely one of my favorites for the year, but the album art is unsettling. I've never had a strong negative physical reaction to album art before. Sure, I've seen artwork that is bizarre, grotesque, etc., and decided to not look at the album art again, but this evokes a different response. I imagine that my response to viewing the artwork is similar to someone who has trypophobia or something similar. Anyone else have a similar response? Is the fear of "weirdly painted people" a thing?

Actually think the album art is ugly looking. Great colours and painting overall but bald ugly dude with his head arched over doesn't scream masterpiece to me lol. Album is a blast tho

What happened to me with the vinyl is, if you turn the album art 90 degrees to the left it works too. It goes from a man arching over some flowers, to a man standing up and looking at some flowers hanging from the wall

Yeah clearly you're not a bald ugly dude with back problems. I find this to be a masterpiece l o l

I really like the cover art. And the music.
They describe Gris Klein as "a portrait of a world enduring its most chaotic era in a generation." I think the album art fits, it appears to me like a person desperately trying to escape and instead find beauty in small things in life but failing to keep their sanity and a healthy posture through all of it.

Review was very abstract but I liked it.

I think this is better overall, but I don’t think they’ll ever top Remember Us Better Than We Are. Legit one of my favorite songs ever.

"We vs Us" is my favourite in WALTW
But yes this is solid AF as a whole, absolutely no skippers only bangers - the only song that I feel is a bit less god tier is Water Wings
