Looked at your avi for long enough to figure out Avril Lavigne is mentioned

i only want to revisit "imagining"
I feel like this should have been her 3rd or 4th album, it's far too deflating as a 2nd

Kinda enjoying this, the extreme shameless 00's pop worship is kind of charming, beats go hard. Though that comes with its own issues i.e. her voice doesn't sound nearly as unique here as it did on the last one. Plus the eccentricity and alternative nature of the debut really fit her and Im sad she dropped a bit of that

I cant get over that album cover.

Bjork had a similar album cover with Volta (2007). Needless to say the music was just as bad as it is here.

Kinda expected this to be pretty mid but this is still a solid follow-up. I feel like the more muted reception to this is because it’s not as upbeat as her debut but I feel like time will be kind to this record

How on earth Hurricanes is a standout when it sounds like the end credits of 00s b-movie schlock staring Reese Witherspoon I have no clue.
The highs of the debut are very high but overall I much prefer this; love the lyrical content and the influences she has this time round. As she said in interviews This Hell is more pop country than Gaga and I am so down for it

It's so trashy that it just repulses me but more power to ya.
